Paddy Fahey photographed primarily the local Irish community from 1951-1977. A very small percentage of these images are on the database however subject matter can be searched using the original photographer’s diaries and this is a priority collection for digitisation.
John Lynch Naimaster worked for several London art dealers and passed to Brent Museum and Archives a number of topographical watercolours, prints and drawings. (PD1977/NAI).
Ball was clerk to Willesden Urban District Council and this collection of prints and drawings was originally displayed in the old Willesden Green Library.
A large selection of the post cards in the Brent Museum and Archives collection are organised into 6 albums which contain the following:
- St. Mary’s and other Willesden and Kingsbury churches, St. Mary’s Schools, local streets and parks, Willesden Cemetery and Twyford Abbey.
- The British Empire Exhibition, 1924-5
- River Brent, Canal, Alperton, Sudbury, Park Royal, Twyford Abbey, WW II
- Harlesden, Stonebridge, Roundwood Park, Willesden Junction
- Wembley, Kingsbury, Kenton, Neasden, Gladstone Park, Cricklewood
- Willesden, Kensal Rise & Green, Harrow Road, Kilburn, Queen’s Park, Brondesbury Park
Local newspaper photographs
20,000 negatives taken by The Willesden Chronicle and The Wembley Observer between1955 and 1978, many never published. A small percentage of these images are searchable on the database and the original photographers’ diaries can be used to access un-digitised material.

Copies of the images catalogued onto our database can be supplied as digital images by email transfer.
For the license to reproduce pictures for which Brent Museum and Archives holds the copyright we make a charge. The amount charged is linked to the use and size of the image.
